What is Half-Life: Source?
Half-Life: Source is a direct Source Engine port of the original Half-Life. Unfortunately, the geometry, models, maps, sounds, and A.I will largely be untouched, so the only noticeable difference will be the physics,
use of shaders, and the dynamic lights and shadows, for the better. You can also expect other direct source engine ports, or better yet entire source engine makeovers such as expansion packs like Opposing-Force and Blue-Shift, and popular multiplayer mods like Team Fortress, TFC and DOD to be done and released. *UPDATE: And also, VALVe Software are to soon release a direct Source Engine port of Half-Life 1: Deathmatch and all its maps, be sure to stay tuned as it'll be released via Steam soon! *UPDATE 2: It's been released! It's now available for ordering and preloadable for $19.95 when bundled with the upcoming Half-Life 2: Episode One Expansion Pack via Steam.
When will it be released?
Half-Life: Source will be released with Half-Life 2 on the same day.
What will be the minimum system requirements?
Probably something lower than what Half-Life 2 requires, I'd estimate something like a 500-800 MHz Pentium III with a
DirectX 6 or 7 compliant 16-32MB compatible graphics card and 128-256MB of RAM and a Windows 98SE to XP loaded PC should be sufficient for running it without problems.

What can we do with this FAQ (distribution wise)?
It's probably ideal that you shouldn't and wouldn't distribute this FAQ but rather link to it because after-all I did write this FAQ myself alone and I don't feel that it is appropiate for anyone to start plagiarism of this FAQ, especially since it's in it's under-construction state of progress.
