What is Counter-Strike: Source?
Counter-Strike: Source is Counter-Strike completely given a major overhaul powered by the new Source Engine that powers Half-Life 2 by VALVe Software.
Everything -- from the physics to the models to the textures, to the quality of the sounds, has been redone in high definition quality to build upon the popular Counter-Terrorist VS Terrorist online multiplayer experience.
Is everything that was in CS in CS: Source and more?
Mostly everything a long with a HL2 "stress-test" benchmark, but some maps were NOT included that were originally in CS 1.5 and 1.6. All the weapons and items have returned as well.
How can I purchase it?
You can purchase it via Steam ATM as your CD-key will also be verified through it, or you can wait and order it along with the HL2 bronze, silver or gold package.
What are the minimum system requirements?
Something probably just a wee bit lower than HL2 -- a 1 GHz level CPU, around 256MB of RAM, a 32MB-64MB DirectX 7 Hardware Transform & Lighting compatible graphics card, a mouse and keyboard and an sufficient broadband Internet Connection.
However, I'd recommend a 2 GHz level CPU,a round 512MB of RAM +, a 64MB-128MB + DX8 or 9 compatible graphics card, and a nice mouse and keyboard with a very high speed broadband Internet connection or better for an optimal experience while playing CS: Source.

What can we do with this FAQ (distribution wise)?
It's probably ideal that you shouldn't and wouldn't distribute this FAQ but rather link to it because after-all I did write this FAQ myself alone and I don't feel that it is appropiate for anyone to start plagiarism of this FAQ, especially since it's in it's under-construction state of progress.
