Regular Package:

This is the regular package of HL2, featuring the game itself in a 5-CD or 1-DVD package,
the instructions, the box itself, and the CS: Source + HL2 DM components for multiplayer.

Collectors Edition Package:
Price: £69.95 or $79.99
The Collectors Edition package should feature all that was in the regular package, the
1-DVD version of HL2, plus HL: Source, DOD: Source, CS: Source and HL2 DM, plus enhanced box art(DUH), and a variety of extra content such as
Half-Life 2 books, posters, t-shirts, extra CDs(with editor tutorials for an example),
etc, for a very expensive price tag in exchange.

Game of the Year Edition Package:
Price: £29.99 or $49.99
The Game of the Year Edition package is a special, just released bundle of Half-Life 2. VALVe Software continue to promote the success of the game by putting together a new, retail version of the game featuring Half-Life 2 itself of course, Counter-Strike: Source, Half-Life 2: Deathmatch, Half-Life: Source, and a fancy new box outlet with some aestheticallly pleasing coverart for nearly half the price as the digital Gold and Silver Steam Packages costed, which was quite hefty.

Bronze Steam Package
Price: £34.95 or $49.95 via Steam
This is the Bronze Package, the lowest value of the three packages available to order and pre-load
via Steam. It's also upgradeable to the Silver Package while paying more money via Steam, but this particular
package features pre-loadable HL2, CS: Source and HL2 DM.

Silver Steam Package
Price: £44.95 or $59.95 via Steam
This is the Silver Package, which is the medium value of the three packages, featuring HL2, CS: Source, HL: Source, DOD: Source, and HL2 DM purchasable/order-able/pre-loadable via Steam. It can also be upgraded to the Gold Package. Unfortunately,
purchasing the collectors edition or Silver Package is the only way to get HL: Source or DOD: Source ATM as they can't be bought
seperately.

Gold Steam Package

This is the Gold Package, the highest value featuring package of the three orderable/preloadable/purchasable via Steam,
which features everything from the Silver Package, plus bundled with HL2 posters, full strategy guide, soundtrack, hat, collector's box, postcard & more.
